Pinheiro Martinez is an architecture and interiors practice founded in 1989, devoted to the high-end residential market and to property developments.

The founding
Sérgio Pinheiro opens the practice in Lauro de Freitas.

2007
Scale
Adamo Pinheiro joins as the second generation and brings BIM. The practice starts designing more, with more control — and working beyond Bahia.

2012
The signature
Patrícia Martinez arrives, interiors are born and the name becomes Pinheiro Martinez. The house stops ending at handover and starts ending in the life of whoever lives in it.

2017
The structure
Alex Álem and Paula Marques complete the partnership. Two pairs — architecture and interiors — and no project without a partner directing it.
